Data Deletion Instructions

AutoGenShorts, operated by SEQUEL AI LTD, only stores the data needed to publish videos to the social media accounts you connect. For Instagram this is your Instagram account ID and username, the name of the linked Facebook Page, an encrypted Page access token, your Facebook user ID and the permissions you granted. Instagram publishing is available, so the Reels you choose to publish are posted to Instagram through that connection; the connection data is stored the moment you connect, and you can delete it in any of the ways below. 1. Disconnect the account in AutoGenShorts

1. Log in to AutoGenShorts and open Social Connections from the app menu.
2. Find the Instagram (or YouTube or TikTok) account you want to remove.
3. Click the delete (bin) icon next to it and confirm.

We immediately delete the connection record and its tokens, and ask Meta to revoke AutoGenShorts' access to your account. Videos already published to Instagram stay on Instagram; you can delete them in the Instagram app.

2. Remove AutoGenShorts from Facebook

1. In Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations.
2. Select AutoGenShorts and click Remove.

This stops AutoGenShorts from publishing to your Instagram account straight away. To also delete the connection data we hold, disconnect the account in AutoGenShorts (step 1) or email us (step 3).

3. Request deletion by email

To delete your connected-account data or your entire AutoGenShorts account, email [email protected] from the email address on your AutoGenShorts account, with the subject "Data deletion request". Tell us whether you want only your Instagram (or other social) connection deleted, or your whole account. We will confirm by email once the deletion is complete. Limited records may remain in backups for a short period, or where the law requires us to keep them, as described in our Privacy Policy.
